The Carson City Democrats will meet 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, May 7th, in the AFSCME Local 4041 Building located at 709 East Robinson Street, on the southwest corner of Roop & Robinson. This month our guest speaker will be Rural Nevada Organizer Cindy Trigg.
In addition, we will be discussing the upcoming Democratic State Convention, which will be held in Reno.

The Carson City Clerk’s Office will be offering a Field Registrar Class. The class will be held on Friday May 9, at 10 a.m. If you would like to attend, please call the office (887-2087) so they will know how many will be coming. Also please complete the attached application and take it with you. This will be the last Field Registrar Class for the 2008 Elections!
The next meeting of the Carson City Democratic Women's Club will be Saturday May 10th at Grandma Hattie's in the Conference Room from 11:30AM to 1:30PM. All Democrats and friends are welcome. The next Carson City Democratic Men’s Club meeting is scheduled for Thursday May 15th at 6:30pm in B’Sghetti’s Restaurant. The guest speaker will be Caren Jenkins, candidate for District Court Judge – 1st Judicial District (Carson City & Storey County). Everyone is welcome. Early registration for the convention is now available on the state party website www.nvdems.com You will still need to check in at the convention, but the process will take very little time. There is a $50 charge to register. However, if this is a hardship you may submit a request for a waiver.
