  • Paint plein air in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains in this second annual watercolor plein air 2-Phased competition and charitable auction event.
  • Over $2500 in cash and prizes  /  Best of Show Award $1000 (BOS award must be a plein air only entry)
  • Phase I – Juried Painting / Phase II – Plein Air Painting
  • All proceeds from this fundraising event will be donated to the local non-profit Capital City C.I.R.C.L.E.S Intitiative, and a Western Nevada College scholarship fund.

Carson City Democrats celebrated the fund raising efforts of its First Annual Plein Air Watercolor Competition. There was a $3,000 donation made to the C.I.R.C.L.E.S. Initiative for its work combating long term poverty and a $1,000 donation to a long standing scholarship fund at WNC targeted for Carson City students.
